Are Limos Safe?

Updated: Nov 28, 2018

With the recent accident in upstate New York, a lot of attention has been paid to the limousine service industry, everything from vehicles and drivers, to safety procedures and load limitations have been getting scrutinized. Given all of this, it’s no wonder that a lot of people might have concerns, after all, when you’re getting in a limousine, you’re putting your safety in the hands of another driver.

At Orlando Limo, we welcome this scrutiny, as we believe that any reputable limo company should. When we drive a passenger we are responsible for their safety and well-being, and there is no higher priority than getting that passenger where they need to go in a safe manner.

For that reason, we pride ourselves on regular maintenance and inspections of our entire fleet, as well as a dedicated team committed to ensuring that our fleet is always serviced, safe, and reliable.

Moreover, we are required to adhere to some of the strictest standards in order to maintain our licenses and permits with the following authorities:

  1. The City of Orlando Vehicles For Hire

  2. Greater Orlando Airport Authority

  3. Port Canaveral Port Authority

  4. All of whom hold companies to the highest standards.

As an additional measure of safety, we will never, under any circumstances overload our vehicles. Depending on the size of your group, your Orlando Limo reservation specialist will inform you of what options are available to you. This is important, as an overloaded vehicle can be a serious safety hazard, and may increase the risk of an accident. For that reason, any company that suggests that the passengers squeeze together is not a serious operator, and most importantly, they do not value your safety.

At Orlando Limo your safety is our number one concern, and it will never be neglected.
